Snickerdoodle, Therapy Dog
Snickerdoodle, is the most popular addition to Dr. Silverman’s dental office. This fluffy, seven pound Schnoodle was added to our team to help decrease the fear and anxiety of so many new patients. Well, there is no fear in our office! Snickerdoodle greets our patients with a warm smile and helps all feel warm, welcome and comfortable within the first few minutes.
Much research and preparation went into our support dog program. Snickerdoodle comes from a lineage of dogs bred for agility, therapy, and temperament. She is hypoallergenic, does not shed and has a personal trainer visit with Sherri from our office each week. Dogs from this kennel grace the premises of many hospitals and medical facilities nationwide. Her cousin is at Georgetown University Hospital in the Washington, D.C. area.
Snickerdoodle loves going to work. Every morning, when Sherri picks up the leash, Snickerdoodle runs down the stairs and waits at the garage door. As far as she is concerned, she is going to see her family at Dr. Silverman’s dental office! Come and meet her…she will be happy to sit on your lap!
